Drive near to the end of Strathcona Heights Rd, as you drive towards the end, you'll see a yellow gate just up from the road on the left. You can go to the end where there is a turn around, and park on the street by the yellow gate. It's a vertical hike up the service road to cell towers. Once at the cell towers there is a trail to the left that will take you to the top. On a clear day there are views of Shawnigan Lake, Sooke Lake, and the ocean. There were lots of spots with broken rock and large solid rocks and with the rain it made hiking up very slippery. Hike with caution. Dogs were off leash.
