Mount Benson has a few different trails that lead to the summit. The one we chose was red on the map and the most difficult, but direct route. During the time we went it was icy in spots making it more difficult to make the hike up. We took a moderate trail on the way down. Once you reach the map navigating up is fairly easy.

This is a nice hike that does a loop with a few different sports with viewpoints of the harbour. There were maps posted on trees along the way, making it easy for first time hikers. This was a dog friendly trail.
